When my creativity is at it’s most random.

SUUPPPEERRMMAAANNNNN!!

I have no idea why I decided to do this fan art of him, maybe it was because I wanted to paint something with blue and red? I tried a different approach and learnt a ton while creating this piece, mainly to do with rendering and being very cautious with colour choices.

Originally he was going to be hit with kryptonite cupcakes which was a little silly so I added pigeons. NOW IT MAKES SENSE.

This is Fred. He likes long walks on the beach and the smell of dishwashing liquid. Fred thinks he enjoys the occasional ripping sounds of velcro straps but can’t be certain due to him having no ears.

A random alien design I created a few days back. Started with a thumbnail silhouette and went from there :)

An environment concept for the same project I did Sandra for. I hardly ever do environments but I learnt a ton and had alot of fun……..while learning to rhyme apparently.

I think I’m appreciating line alot more after seeing Paul Pope’s work. This looks nothing like his stuff if your familiar with it, but it’s really inspiring.

Here is a character sketch! A tall dude that likes to get close and personal with his daggers. When creating it I was really trying to think of how he would fight and what clothing would accommodate it.

Oh hey, I’m not dead!

I haven’t been posting anything in the last 2 months due to being too busy with freelance work, mostly with Studio Joho. It’s been a blast and I’m really excited to see the work they are doing be released in the coming year.

I’m also going to aim to start posting up what I’ve done in these past 2 months and other random bits and pieces, so keep a lookout ;)
